Work for GEOS San Francisco
Work as a teacher at GEOS San FranciscoGEOS English Academy, San Francisco, is a great place to learn English and do TOEFL iBT test preparation. It is also a great place to work and to teach. GEOS offers a very professional working environment, solid administrative support, professional facilities and resources, and training/advancement opportunities. With schools around the world, GEOS San Francisco also offers you the ability to travel and teach throughout our network of language schools. GEOS San Francisco's English and TOEFL iBT programs are accredited by ACCET. All of our teachers must possess a university degree and a recognized TEFL/TESL/TESOL qualification. Or, they must have attended, and be able to document, that their teaching training program contained at least 100 hours of theory and 20 hours of practicum. Unfortunately, teaching experience in another country can not replace these criteria. If you have both a university degree and a recognized teaching certificate, you may send your CV to info@geossf.com. You may also certainly drop off your CV in person at the school - we will be happy to greet you - but we are not able to meet individually with potential teachers who do wish to visit. We thank all applicants for their interest.

![]() For me, it was important to move to level 4 class with students from level 3. We are a good group for study. First we had Justin. He is strict, but very good for us to learn English. I like to speak with Denise because Denise knows many things about the world. And Kensho is very serious about teaching, but he is also funny. I think I improve my English because before San Francisco I was an introvert. I was afraid to speak English and I did not speak. Here teachers get students to speak. Now I am more comfortable. In San Francisco, the city is very fabulous. It is a crazy city. You can see many things, the ocean, the park, the streets. The city is very clean. In San Francisco I appreciate the people. Very, very friendly. People speak slowly when I say I am from France, they try to understand and to explain. It's a good city and I recommend this city to my friends. I will miss my friends from GEOS because I met good persons from different countries. We can exchange about our cultures. I am forty-three and this is a particular part of my life. It is not real life, it is a vacation. When I come back to France I must work. I will miss it. My word to describe GEOS is: Family. Sabine Hennique France |
