GEOS English Academy San Francisco located on the 4th floor and 5th floor in the historic Flatiron Building, is part of the GEOS family of over 550 language schools worldwide.Our school is a great place to learn English, improve your TOEFL score, and make new friends. GEOS provides quality language instruction in a comfortable atmosphere. We offer full time and part time English as a Second Language (ESL) and iBT TOEFL Preparation classes as well as part time at our school in the heart of San Francisco.

Intensive English Course

This course can help you improve your English speaking and listening skills, learn new vocabulary, and improve your reading and writing For full-time international students. Part-time study is also available.

TOEFL Preparation Course

This course is now ready to help you with the new iBT TOEFL exam which includes a speaking section. This program teaches students the skills and strategies needed for getting the score they need in addition to improving advanced English skills. Essay writing, critical listening, reading comprehension, and structure are all part of our course.

BUSINESS English Study

We offer this program in both group classes and one-to-one tutoring. This program is designed to help international business professionals prepare to use English in both present and future work situations. The focus of the program is business related communication skills, oral and written.

Volunteer Program

GEOS English Academy, San Francisco has an exciting volunteer program whcich can give you practical experience in a variety of areas including animal care, environmental protection, and more. Find out more

School Activities

In addition to an interesting in-class experience, our after school activities are full of fun to help practice your English skills outside the classroom with students from other classes. School trips, parties, movie day, coffee-talk, and more just for you each month - only at GEOS.

Homestay & Accommodation

The GEOS Homestay Program gives visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of American culture by sharing with their host family in everyday life. As well as being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, students can participate in family activities.

Holiday Group Program

Holiday Groups include English lessons and school activities.Students have English classes in the morning and activities in the afternoon. Excursions for this type of program include sightseeing, parties, and cultural activities.

GEOS San Francisco has 6 college pathway schools in the Bay Area.The agreement between GEOS and the pathway schools allows students who complete our Advanced Intensive English Course or Advanced TOEFL Course to be given priority when applying to these colleges, and a TOEFL score will NOT be needed.
